As the country was marking this year's Labour Day celebrations yesterday on May 1st, Deputy President William Ruto and a number of his allies from Mt Kenya had travelled to Narok County for a retreat whose aim was to discuss the best possible all-inclusive economic approach in preparation for the DP's 2022 manifesto.
The retreat saw a number of leaders and common citizens that make up the DP's supporters as well as critics raise mixed reactions over the manner in which the DP is running his politics.
The latest critic of the DP from his home county of Uasin Gishu to react to that retreat is the 2022 gubernatorial hopeful Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki.
Taking to Twitter early today on May 2nd, Buzeki said that whatever is being done in the name of an economic seminar is zero work just like washing a chicken's feet.
That sooner than later after those efforts, things will go back to being worse like nothing happened. According to Buzeki, the only solution to this is voting out of all corrupt leaders come 2022 because economic growth is allergic to corruption.
His tweet read that "this 'economic seminar' ni kazi ya kusafisha kuku mguu, atarudi kukanyanga mchanga tena . All corrupt leaders must fall in 2022, period. Economic growth is allergic to corruption. Potea!"
As seen above, photos that were shared in the aftermath of yesterday's meeting hinted that the DP is looking forward to emulating the former President Mwai Kibaki in his economic approach.
Then in what seems to be the 'big four' economic agenda that was discussed, issues dealing with Agriculture, Small & Medium Enterprises, Manufacturing and Cottage Industries were part of the discussion yesterday as seen below.
