Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua has taken a swipe at his former coalition Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance especially at the party flagbearer Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua.
According to Mutua, he alleges that the average age of Raila and Karua is seventy nine while that of DP Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua is 55.
He further stated that the Azimio political leaders are old and therefore should be respected but he also they will be soon going for retirement subsequently DP Dr William Ruto should remember to send them retirement benefits.
''Ukikuwa rais tafadhali usisahau kuwatumia wazee wa Azimio pesa ya retire,'' he added.
Mutua said that they want a youthful government that will be characterized by flexibility in its operations.
