Clever Way Raila Has Assembled 30 Lawyers To Ensure He Wins The Petition

After the announcement made by Chebukati, Raila Odinga had one day to announce his intentions for the future. The former prime minister, while speaking to the media, leveled accusations against Chebukati, saying that they ran an opaque process, which prevented them from lawfully winning the presidency. Therefore, he stated to their backers that they will be looking into various legal routes to ensure that the decision of the majority of Kenyans will not be overturned by the actions of a single individual.

According to Tuko News, the presidential contender has already recruited more than 30 attorneys who will act as legal representatives for their coalition should the matter proceed to trial. These attorneys have been separated into three groups, including the senior counsels, the experienced lawyers, and the attorneys who are knowledgeable in the art of preparing and reading submissions in court.

It is anticipated that the group will deliver their petition on Friday, which is also the day when the pre-trial will be carried out, followed immediately by the main session. Senior counsel James Orengo, Otiende Amollo, Paul Mwangi, and possibly others will be the lead attorneys in this case.
