Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, is among the politicians who are yet to be rewarded despite standing with the Kenya Kwanza Alliance during the last election. Sonko ditched Wiper party during the last days of campaigns and publicly endorsed Ruto and his UDA party.
Speaking on Saturday, Sonko said that he doesn't regret his decision of supporting the current administration adding that the country is moving in the right direction.
Sonko further recounted how him and other politicians allied to William Ruto were persecuted by former president Uhuru Kenyatta. He said that he will not stop to remind Kenyans the injustices that were meted to Ruto allies by the last regime.
"You all remember how we were persecuted by my friend the former president Uhuru Kenyatta. Myself, Kimani Ichung'wa, Ndindi Nyoro and Murkomen were taken through hard times. It's evident that there is a God in heaven," alluded Sonko.
The vocal politician also cracked the ribs of the crowd after he stated that he is the current deep state. Sonko warned Raila Odinga on disturbing president Ruto vowing to deal with him.
"I am warning Raila Odinga. Don't try to disturb our president or otherwise I will deal with you. I am now a deep state," stated Sonko.
