"My Mother Became Sick After I Missed UDA Nomination Slot" Western Kenya Politician Reveals

In politics, there is always one winner and many losers per any elective seat. Keeping in mind that running campaigns is costly and tiresome since it requires money for fueling and hiring vehicles, man power and also printing and distribution of campaign materials like posters and party t-shirts, some politicians might end up spending their little income and still lose the election.

Through TUKO news verified facebook page, former Vihiga county UDA party women representative aspirant honourable Jackline Mwenesi is mourning the death of her mother that happened after falling sick for a short period of time. According to the female politician, her mother started being sick immediately after she missed the UDA party nomination slot. She was quoted;

"My mother had mobilized people to attend my swearing in ceremony, but she was shocked after I missed the slot. She never recovered from then."
