The Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi has now taken his war against the government for over increasing the fuel prices hence affecting the whole economy especially on basic consumer products such as maize flour, sugar and cooking oil.
In his tweet, Havi has wondered who is exactly responsible for the exxegerated prices. He says, "Fuel prices is next frontier where the people's legal battle on good governance, transparency and accountability against Parliament and the Executive should focus. Where are the experts to problematize the issue in order that we may commence the legal battle?"
The LSK President Nelson Havi has been regulating the government's power to strike the balance with the citizens welfare. The hint to take the legal action against the overpriced fuel products comes barely a day after he filed a suit against the government and Ministry of Education to stop further implementation of Competency Based Curriculum.
