However, speaking before the news platforms microphones, the president, replied to his deputy that he should keep quiet for he willingly and with no known reason withdrew himself from the government in his second term as the deputy president and abandoned his duties.

This reply has however reached Dr. William Ruto while he is on in his rally. In his reaction to this he said, "Who in the country doesn't know how all this happened, that responsibilities was taken from me and placed on another mans control? What could have made me to quit your poor government."
