With mistrust now rocking the BBI camp, a Referendum is now becoming another issue that is causing uncertainty in the camp.
Uhuru's allies are reportedly against any Referendum due to the timing and are calling for the Bill to be ascented by the president and to become law.
This has however not been taken well with Raila's allies.
Speaking to the Star, Ledama has now ruled out the possiblity of BBI going through without a Referendum taking place.
According to Ledama, he will organize his fellow troops in the Senate to stop any attempt of not having a Referendum as it is being alleged.
Ledama has argued that since some of the issues in the Bill touch on Devolution and governance then a Referendum is a must and he will not tolerate any attempts to skip a Referendum.
