Today, IEBC announced People's Empowerment Party candidate George Koimburi,as the MP elect for Juja Koimburi got 12,159 votes compared to Jubilee's Susan Njeri, who got 5,748 votes.The win,has saw Moses Kuria, who is the leader of PEP, and bankrolled by DP Ruto ,being elevated.
And now one of the stern Kieleweke member and Kiambu Women Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba,has issued a statement after Jubilee lost in Juja.
Gathoni, lauded the people of Juja for showing up all through the campaigning period.She added that she respect the will of the people and that they have shown it through their votes.
She added that since the start,it was clear PEP candidate George Koimburi was winning the elections while their Jubilee candidate was losing.She also admitted defeat.
She also said that she will be taking a break,to reflect on what has been happening and on the way forward.
Her remarks in the statement,hints that the women representative,must be on his way out of the Kieleweke faction,which support President Uhuru to Tangatanga,which is allied to DP Ruto.
