Wafula Chebukati. Even so, an update on the presidential results that was posted on social media at 7:15 PM shows that William Ruto, who is the vice president, is ahead of the other candidates.

The vice president, William Ruto, has 51.89% of the vote, and Hon. Raila Odinga, who is running for president through the Azimio La Umoja party, is close behind with 47%.
