The West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo today opened a milk processing facility in his county to the jubilation of his county residents mostly in cattle rearing business. He noted that his focus was on uplifting the lives of his people and not politicking every time.
Lonyangapuo said that the multi-million project was going to change the lives of many people as thousands of jobless youths were going to get employment. He encouraged the residents to take advantage of the opportunity.
The county boss further added that the project was also going to help the neighbouring counties as they could also bring their unprocessed milk for value addition. By doing so his people were going to get revenue, the Governor added.
He finally told the residents to continue working hard in everything they do and his government was always ready to help them.
