President William Samoei Ruto concluded his two-day working tour to Nyanza region. He visited Siaya, Homabay and Busia Counties where he met with leaders drawn from entire Nyanza region. The President commissioned several projects including the affordable housing project in Homabay and roads in Kisumu and Siaya.

Today, Former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa took to his twitter account to comment on the warm reception President Ruto was accorded in Nyanza region.

He said, "the sobriety and maturity we are seeing in our politics as counties work closely with the national government is good for devolution and Development. It is not a love affair or charity, it's a constitutional imperative that the 2 levels of government work together in consultation and cooperation ".
