Raila Odinga has been celebrated by a group of high-profile leaders who gathered in a prestigious city hotel. This comes just hours after Raila completed a successful tour in Eldoret before traveling to Mumias to attend the funeral of MP John Naicca's mother.
Hekima Kaka Sacco has gathered the vibrant tycoons and leaders in Villa Rosa Kempinski for the event. This Sacco organized the event to honor Raila Odinga's unwavering efforts to bring Kenyans together ahead of the 2022 general elections.
High-ranking persons, particularly from Central Kenya, attended the meeting including Royal Media boss SK Macharia and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, who is expected to play a key role in Raila's presidential bid in 2022. Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o, a seasoned politician who first entered politics in the 1990s, was also in attendance.
Raila had earlier met with members of the Mount Kenya Foundation as well as Mount Kenya youths less than a month ago.
