Mukhisa Kituyi the new presidential candidate has opened up about his relationship with the former president Mwai Kibaki administration he formed an alliance that brought Kibaki to power.
President Kibaki invited Mukhisa for a meet up in Nakuru, where he told me they discussed the 2002 elections and some Kikuyu culture and traditions like why it is always significant for a father to give his older son a calf when he is getting old.
The presidential candidate who jetted in the country today from Abroad where he has been working in a United Nation body has promised to be part of the conversation that will save the country from rising tension.
He becomes the third presidential candidate from western Kenya to join the race, others who have shown interest include Musalia Mudavadi who is the party leader of Amani National Congress and Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya
Mukhisa has also promised to fight corruption if elected and that he will not spare anyone that will nbe involved in the vice.
