The deputy president William Ruto being the second in command makes him the second most protected person in Kenya, and no security issue is left by chance.
Today the deputy president hosted the former governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, at his Karen residents, and a zoom at the photo revealed strict instructions to those meet him.
At the entrance of his office, there was bold instructions to all those who are about to enter the office, to leave their electronic devices at the entrance, as well as those who were in possession of firearms.
The Notice reads, "Please Deposit Your electronic devices and Firearms Here."
This is all in line of making sure the deputy president is safe during his meeting, some which are highly secretive, and his personal bodyguards may not be allowed in the room.
Deputy president enjoys the privilege of having to choose his personal security, as he is entitled to security by the state.
