Azimio la Umoja Movement-One Kenya Alliance coalition presidential running mate Martha Karua, has sent a special message to Deputy President Dr William Ruto and his allies after the Azimio brigade took Nyeri Town by storm by bringing business to a standstill. Speaking during their Nyeri Town rally, Karua took the opportunity to send a message to their competitors saying they are not using threats against them when they say they are going to fight corruption.
Karua said that Ruto and his allies have decided to use threats that they are going to investigate and jail certain politicians if they win the top seat. But Azimio does not threaten anyone when they say they are going to fight corruption they are meaning that they will deal with the culprits of corruption regardless of their relationship. They will not care whether it is a family member of anyone else who is found guilty of stealing public resources, hence Ruto and his allies should stop trembling when Azimio says it will be brutal against corrupt individuals.
"Lastly before I finished, I have a message to our competitors (Deputy President Dr William Ruto and his allies) that they are not our enemies. They are our competitors but not our enemies, they have chosen to use threats but for us we will not use threats. When we say we are going to fight corruption we don't mean that we are targeting you, there's no mother who names her child corruption we mean that we are going to fight corruption regardless of who the culprit is..." She told then.
