Corona virus disease has brought different activities in the country to a standstill with education sector being the most affected part. Millions of people have succumbed due to this deadly virus.
Kenyan Ministry of Health has earlier on confirmed that the country has entered into its third wave of this pandemic. Situation seemed to be worsening to the extent that his Excellency the president Uhuru Kenyatta decided to come up with some directives to help in reducing the spread of this pandemic.
Among the measures that seem to have really affected the lives of citizens is the issue of Lockdown that was imposed in some five counties that seemed to be the hotspot in spreading the virus. So many people are opposing the president's decision urging him to revise his directives and uplift the lockdown.
Despite the figures being announced by the ministry of health indicating that the rate of infection is going down, in my own opinion I suggest that His Excellency the president should not rush to uplift lockdown but he should rather wait until when the curve would have flattened completely, otherwise the country can again enter into its 4th wave.
Fellow Kenyans you can as well drop your opinion on how you think this disease can be handled in the comment section.
