What speaker Moses Wetangula has warned Ruto's cabinet nominees from doing until they are approved

The vetting of the Cabinet Secretaries is now being done in the Parliamentary Building by the committee headed by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.

Justin Muturi, a former speaker of the National Assembly and candidate for attorney general, was sighted yesterday at the attorney general's office in Sheria House. Justin Muturi was chosen by President William Ruto to succeed retiring AG Kihara Kariuki as attorney general.

The Cabinet Secretary Nominees have been advised not to attend the various ministries to which they have been nominated by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.

Given that they are still contenders for the position until the House gives its approval, Cabinet nominees have been urged not to "visit" the various Ministry offices, according to National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.

Several candidates for the job of cabinet secretary have already visited their respective ministries although the screening process is still ongoing to get to know the leaving cabinet secretaries.
