"IEBC Announced Mung'aro as Governor & Ruto as President, Not Me or You" Aisha Jumwa Tells Raila

Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa has criticized the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance boss Raila Odinga for double speak as far as the August 9th polls is concerned.
Speaking during Governor Gideon Mung'aro's thanksgiving service in Kilifi, a function that was attended by Raila, Jumwa said that it was unfortunate for the ODM boss and the leaders in the Azimio camp to claim that Ruto rigged the polls, while still welcoming their own wins.
She argued that she had the opportunity to protest Mung'aro's gubernatorial win, but added that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission announced who won, and his win was celebrated, and at the same time the poll agency announced Ruto as the president and not Raila.
"I want to tell Raila here today that Ruto was declared the winner IEBC after winning the presidency. If he was rigged in, I would have also wanted to be rigged in and not Mung'aro."
"But they did not, and that is why Mung'aro defeated me and I was not declared the winner. You were not announced the winner. We cannot be saying one thing here, and the next minute we are saying something different," said Jumwa.
