With a few days to the August poll, ODM leader Raila Odinga and UDA leader William Ruto are considered the top contestants to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kitui governor Charity Ngilu today rallied Kwale county to drum support for Azimio One Kenya presidential candidate Raila. This comes days after Ruto visited the county .
DP Ruto last week made several rallies in Coastal region to woo for support. He first held economic forum in Kwale before he headed to Mombasa county.
Ruto was warmly received by a mammoth crowd who promised to support his bid. He was accompanied by Kwale governor Salim Mvurya, Speaker Justin Muturi, governor Alfred Mutua among other allies.
Ngilu today camped in Kasemeni ward, Kinango constituency where she got a warm reception from a huge crowd. Her rally was to confirm whether coastal residents were fully supporting Kenya Kwanza.
Ngilu urged residents to vote Raila on August election. Raila's running mate Martha Karua on the other hand rallied Kisii county drumming support for Azimio.
