The Tanzanian president has made her first official duty since she ascended to power over the demise of president John Pombe Magufuli. She is currently in Uganda, to meet president Yoweri Museveni. Uganda has been a key partner in trade with Tanzania owing to the good relationship that Museveni enjoyed with Magufuli.
The state visit will see Suluhu affirm through a signature a multi billion project that aims to connect Uganda and Tanzania. The scheduled construction oil pipeline will be a partnership between the two countries further strengthening the bond between them. Uganda is on the rush to improve on it's oil infrastructure which will soon ease the huge burden Ugandans pay for the commodity.
Suluhu Hassan seem to fit well into Magufuli shoes as a head of state aimed towards development. His period in power will gauge her capability and this will dictate if people will elect her to presidency or not if she choose to vie.
