Man Who Worked With Ruto In YK92 Makes This Appeal To OKA Leaders At Bomas.

The independent Party Kenya Africa national congress (KANU) today endorsed it's chairman Gideon Moi to run for presidency.

The event was held at bomas of Kenya and was attended by among others ODM leader Raila Odinga who left earlier and one Kenya alliance leaders led by Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was represented by kieni MP kanini kega who urged the leaders to work together so that they can form the next government.

The newly rebranded KANU fresh's presidential aspirant Gideon Moi said that he will prioritise the fight against corruption if he becomes the president.

He saidd that the party will soon have a presidential launch when he will declare his promises for Kenya.

Among the guests present also was the former cabinet minister Cyrus Jirongo who too addressed the KANU delegates.

While addressing them, Jirongo pleaded with the leaders present to work together ahead of 2022 so that the country remains United.

He expressed confidence in Gideon Moi's ability to bring leaders together for a United Kenya.

Jirongo was once a prominent leader of the youth for KANU 92 Which campaigned vigorously for the former president Daniel arap Moi.

In the youth wing, Cyrus Jirongo worked with the deputy president William Ruto to turn the wave aggainst the then powerful Opposition led by Jaramogi oginga Odinga and Kenneth Matiba.

Jirongo would later on fall out with Ruto even as he faded from Politics having been declared bankrupt at some point.

Gideon Moi's move to declare his intention to run for president comes 18 years since the party last fielded a candidate in the name of Uhuru kenyatta who lost to Mwai Kibaki.
