Kenyans are anxiously anticipating the announcement of the new Head of State, who would follow President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Deputy President William Ruto and Raila Odinga, who are neck and neck in the results being counted by the IEBC, are now the only two candidates left in the race.
Nation has finally addressed rumors that the IEBC had identified 9,200 ballots in the Kisumu East Constituency that were improperly counted in Raila Odinga's favour.
Such reports have been labeled as fraudulent by The Nation, which has urged the general public to disregard them.
At the moment, IEBC is comparing form 34A to form 34B to make sure they don't line up and do match.
The results from several constituencies that have already been confirmed have been announced by the IEBC.
According to the constitution, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has until Tuesday to declare the results of the general elections for president held on August 9th.
