As the results continue to come in, Bishop John Oballa has urged all Kenyans including candidates, supporters and commentators to watch on their words and actions, saying that wrong choice of words can lead to violence.
He also advised candidates who shall have lost in the election to concede defeat. On the same note, he urged candidates who feel dissatisfied with the results to challenge them in the court of law.
Bishop John Oballa: "We call upon all candidates, supporters and commentators to carefully consider their words and actions in response to the results that are announced. We encourage both losers and winners to accept the will of the people."
Meanwhile, the election is not to divide us, it is to help us set up a new group of leaders who will advance the country. It is important that we embrace patience, peace, unity, love and solidarity as we continue to wait results from IEBC.
