Uhuru Kenyatta Must Order The Closure Of These Places For The Benefits Of Kenyans [Opinion]

There are threats that we might encounter another wave of the COVID-19 as reported by the scientists. Many citizens have forgotten about the virus and they have been doing different activities that might expose them in contracting the virus. Even though people believe that majority of Kenyans have been vaccinated it takes three quarters to be vaccinated for the rest of population to develop immunity.

The president must enact the measures inorder to prevent another wave, the measures that were enacted earlier must to curb another wave. These places must be closed or be restricted to allow small number of individuals:

1.Bars and Restaurants.

These places become overcrowded and people who come in these places are from different places.The government should enact rules inorder to curb the spread of the virus.

2. Political Rallies.

The political temperature in the country has gone up and the campaigns are ongoing despite the fact that the election period is still so long. All political Rallies should be stopped because they predispose millions of people to contract the virus. The campaigns should be done in an orderly manner or through social media platforms.

3. Churches.

Those attending the service must be regulated to avoid overcrowding and all measures to curb the virus observed. People seems to have now embarked in their Normal church attendance and you find that the churches become overcrowded.

4. Closure of Schools.

People must go back to E-learning to stop the spread the virus. Children come from different places and they might risk the life of their fellow students. Government must provide gadgets to students so that all students can learn while at home and in the sight of their parents who will easily monitor their movements.
