Through his official Facebook page, Governor Simba Arati disclosed details of his consultative meeting with the head of state at State House Nairobi alongside other elected leaders from the county.
Governor Simba Arati disclosed that he discussed the establishment of a medical city in Kisii county under the Kenya United Kingdom alliance and the sustainable urban economic development programs.
" The set up of a medical city to be established under the Kenya UK health alliance and the sustainable urban economic development programs in Kisii county is one course" posted Simba Arati on his official Facebook page.
Simba Arati further disclosed that the national government under president William Ruto leadership has pledged to support the mega project during today's meeting.
"The national government led by president William Ruto has pledged support for this project during a meeting between the Kisii county, UK health Alliance delegation and the national government at State House Nairobi" added Arati.
Simba Arati was elected as the second governor of Kisii county on a ODM party ticket. He succeeded James Ongwae who recently decamped to Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
