The former Nairobi city county governor H.E Mike Mbuvi Sonko has moved with speed to cushion the residents of Shaurimwoyo following the fire tragedy that befell them. The fore left families counting immense losses of property and lives.
Two children were reported dead from the incident with over 300 families being displaced. Sonko has now issued the affected families with basic commodities like mattresses, blankets, buckets etc
"Following yesterday's fire tragedy that left two children dead and over 300 families affected, my team is today donating basic household items including mattresses, blankets, buckets, basins, baby diapers, sanitary towels and other essentials to support the affected families." Mike Sonko
The act of humanity by Sonko has left many deeply touched and have appreciated him for the good job and kind heart towards the people of Nairobi. Through his famous, Sonko rescue team, Mike Sonko has continued to touch lives even after his ouster as the Nairobi governor.
