"He Was A Victim Of Domestic Violence" Makau Mutua Hits Back At Wetangula, Kenyans React

Makau Mutua has hit back at Kenya Kwanza Alliance principal Moses Wetangula, something which has left Kenyans talking.

On Saturday, the Ford -Kenya party leader attacked Raila's presidential secretariat for criticizing anything that United Democratic Alliance party flagbearer William Ruto says.Anyone can go to America and come back with a professor title,' Wetangula slams <a class=Makau Mutua"/>

The Bungoma senator revealed how he is pitying Raila Odinga for having Makau Mutua in his team.

On the other side, the professor has taken to his twitter page to say that rather than responding to Wetangula, he feels sorry for him because he was a victim of domestic violence.

"Rather than respond to Wetangula, I feel sorry for the man. He was a victim of domestic violence," Said Mutua in afternoon tweet.

Kenyans have been left reacting to this remarks by Makau Mutua. Below is how the netizens responded;

Bravin Yuri: Bringing in the issue of domestic violence is not to sympathize with him but to mock him. You can do better Prof. There are better clap backs. In an era where many men keep quiet when they experience domestic violence, this is a low blow and Victim shaming 101.

Laban Kitele: There is something Wetangula said which is quite true. Anybody can go to USA and come back as a professor.

Aaronmailu: At what time will Raila have the interest of kamba people, Mudavadi and Wetangula saw this coming to their tribe and dumped Azimio, you yourself ,Kalonzo,Ngilu and a few other you are there for your own benefits, mtashangaa.
