Homabay town Member of Parliament have been under fire for the last four days on Twitter after he reacted to a post Dr Roselyn Akombe. The MP shamed dreadlocked professionals.
The MP took tweeter on Sunday and wrote the, "imagine your doctor, lawyer, engineer in dreadlocks.'
The MP sparked a heated debate on Twitter, particularly among people with dreadlocks.
The Member of Parliament meet himself on the receiving end of heated exchange with people with dreadlocks. He have meet himself in this situation for the last four days on Twitter.
The lawmaker had said that, people with dreadlocks looks like like criminals.
However, the lawmaker was questioned on what makes him come to such a conclusion on matters morality in the public court.
He was told off that a respected lawmaker should be able to analyze and contribute content on issues of morality but not profiling people based on backward opinion. The lawmaker was told off that there is nothing wrong to do with dreadlocks and they looks even more beautiful and presentable.
