
The home of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party presidential hopeful candidate Jimmy Wanjigi yesterday reportedly received unexpected visitors from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in the night hours.
This has this morning forced the tycoon to Speak to the media on what transpired yesternight. Wanjigi has stated that, officers believed to be DCI detectives raided his offices demanding to take him the police custody for grilling on different matters.
He explained that, the law enforcement officers forced their way into the compound dressed in protective gears similar to those used by health officials while responding to medical emergencies.
Today in the morning there has been a commotion at Wanjigi's home after the businessman’s campaign secretariat arrived to address the same matter. They are set to address journalists at 9.AM following a night raid at his Kwacha House offices .
Wanjigi has been at the centre of a land tussle over a piece of land worth at least Sh400 million in Westlands.
