Taking to her Instagram account, the sassy queen penned herself a lovely birthday message being optimistic of what the future holds.
" God has done it again for me!...another year to celebrate life, health, family and friends. Another year to learn how to trust myself and to know what it means to stand proudly I my being. Here is to bringing me back to myself...to find the warmth and love within myself" she said.
Nelius Mukami marked the milestone while in Migori County where she had a lovely birthday cake and also some drinks for herself as shown below.
Conspicuously however as she celebrated her birthday, her husband who is also a former nominated Senator snubbed the occasion.
He was nowhere to be seen in the short video clips that she uploaded on her insta stories, and also failed to pen her a birthday message on his social media platforms like he used to do before.
This comes at a time when rumours have always been rife about their 6-year-marriage being on the rocks.
Infact it is Nelius Mukami who has been uploading cryptic posts to hint that she isn't happy with the way that she's being treated in their relationship.
Below are some of the posts
The posts started sometime in June and since then Nelius Mukami has become somewhat distant from the politician.
Now she focuses on making herself happy and even if you scroll through her latest Instagram photos, then you'll notice how she has been going to vacations at different places in the country on her own.
The couple tied the knot on the 27th of June 2015, and they are blessed with a 4-year-old son called Njiru Mwaura.
