The rush to this August general election is on with efforts being made to have as many registered voters as possible.The electoral body IEBC has scaled up its efforts with another voter registration commencing yesterday.The Commission seeks to bridge the gap that it didn't meet in the October voter registration.Kenyans have been urged to come out in large numbers and register as voters.
Governor Kiraitu Murungi is determined to make his DEP party famous.He has said that his party will not have a presidential candidate.However,Kiraitu has at times behaved like he is backing or close to backing Odinga having been seen with Odinga in his tours to the region.
The Devolution Empowerment Party boss is seemingly reading from different script with his secretary general Mr Imanyara.Imanyara has already confirmed that the party is backing Azimio La Umoja while Kiraitu says that the party is yet to declare the candidate to support.What next for Kiraitu after this confusion that may threaten his party especially if he goes a different direction?
