DP Gachagua Alleges Huge Amount of Money Azimio Offered Chebukati to Declare Raila the President

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday attended a church service in Bomet alongside President William Ruto and other leaders from UDA.

However speaking, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua allegedly claimed that some people ( Azimio) bribed independent electoral and boundary commission ( IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati with ksh 1 Billion to announce Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga the winner of august presidential election.

According to Gachagua,Wafula Chebukati didn't fall for their trap after even sending the head of military who was to order the capture of Chebukati where vice-chairperson Juliana Cherera was to announce for a re-run.

Gachagua, former Mathira member of parliament as well revealed how he, William Ruto, Rachael Ruto and Dorcus Gachagua prayed after order came in saying Ruto was to wait before heading to Bomas of Kenya.

" People were sent to try and bribe Chebukati with Ksh1 billion to announce call the election in favor of the other candidate but he refused. They even sent the head of the military but did not budge," Gachagua claimed

Gachagua therefore lauded Wafula Chebukati for conducting a free and fair election alongside standing against 'deep state' who allegedly wanted him declare former prime minister Raila Odinga the winner of presidential election.

Gachagua's remarks comes off just a day after their visit in Luo Nyanza where they promised to work with leaders affiliated to Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition.

Meanwhile, former KANU secretary general Nick Salat was warmly received in Kenya Kwanza after dumping Azimio la Umoja.
