The 2022 elections are around the corner as Ruto and Uhuru are accused of exchanging war of words in public even as 34 days to the general elections. The race to statehouse is between Ruto and Raila and the running mates being Rigathi and Karua respectively. Today, I want us to focus on the latest opinion poll upshots from Meru county.
Kathuri Murungi of UDA became the winner of the polls. Murungi scored a 53.5% popularity followed by Joseph Kaberia of Jubilee party. James Mithika Ntongai had a popularity rating of 8.5%. William Ruto is on the save side in terms of senatorrila race.
In the race for the gubernatorial seat, buthika Linturi has got a 32% popularity followed by I dependent candidate Kawira Mwangaza with 29% popularity. Azimio candidate Kiraitu Murungi came at the third position with 28.1%
In tigania East, Mpuri Aburi of azimio la umoja came at the first position. The EALA memeber of parliament has got a popularity rating of 45.4% followed by Gichunge Kabeabea with a popularity rating of 40.6%
In North Imenti, Dr Shadrack Mwiti of UDA party came at the first position with a popularity rating of 54.6% followed by Gideon Kimani Mutwiri.
