A delegation from United States of America landed in the country in the wee hours of the night led by Chris Coons the Congressman for Delaware State.
Details of the meeting between the two parties have emerged after US Embassy in Kenya leaked the details of the high profile meeting.
The two teams are reported to have discussed the US-Kenya strategic partnership, promotion of peace and security in the region and ways to strengthen the economies of Kenya and USA
A photo shared by the Embassy reveals that the President elect William Ruto was accompanied by high ranking Kenya Kwanza Alliance officials including Rigathi Gachagua, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula,Ababu Namwamba, Davis Chirchir among other top leaders.
The delegation is also expected to meet the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga who is headed to the Supreme Court to challenge the presidential results.
The team is also expected to meet President Kenyatta. More details of the meetings will be shared by this writer.
