With less than 3 months to Kenya's general elections, the 2022 journey to State House is officially on as top politicians in the country have embarked on a mission to entice voters with promising manifesto on what to expect once they are elected.
Deputy President William Ruto is seen as the top contender, but he is not alone in the race as ODM boss Raila Odinga has also shown signs of succeeding President Uhuru. On the list is ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Below is a list of the above leaders and what they will give priority if given an opportunity to lead the nation come next year.
1: Raila Odinga
ODM leader Raila Odinga has not formally declared his 2022 presidential bid, but he has shown signs of vying for the top seat for the fifth time. Raila believes in fairness when it comes to national resources and he will invest in the prolonged stability of the nation.
2: William Ruto
Deputy President William Ruto currently is the man to beat come 2022. Ruto believes it's high time the leadership at the top adopted a new way of doing things to Kenyans and he has come up with a bottom-up economic model which he has been preaching across the country.
