Jubilee Party Forced To Cancel Its NDC Ahead Of Uhuru's State Of Nation Address

Jubilee Party has been forced to cancel it's National Delegates Conference (NDC) which was scheduled to take place on 30th November.

According to the party Secretary General, Rafael Tuju, the party will make a new announcement on the date and venue for the NDC.

Tuju added that the party was forced to cancel the National Delegates Conference date after it coincided with the State of the Nation address by President Uhuru Kenyatta which is also scheduled to take place on the same day.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is the Jubilee Party leader therefore the two events could not take place on the same day. The party therefore decided to cancel the NDC as the Address to the public is the remaining most important event to the head of state this year.

However, a reliable source has stated that Jubilee Party decided to cancel its NDC to wait for ODM party leader Raila Odinga to publicly declare his presidential candidature.

This will allow the party to adopt to Odinga's campaign structure as the party back his presidential bid.
