Just as the country is about to completely wipe away the sorrows of losing the third Head of State, another shocking news of the demis of a popular MCA is announced.
The Karima ward MCA, Hon. Reuben Wahome Kabera is confirmed dead.
The politician succumbed to an undisclosed illness at the Mt Kenya Hospital where he had been admitted for the past two weeks.
The Nyeri County Assembly speaker Hon. John Kaguchia confirmed the legislators' passing away on Monday morning. He eulogised the late Wahome as a progressive politician whose transformative leadership will be dearly missed by residents of Karima Ward and Nyeri County.
More about his funeral arrangements and the final journey will be communicated later. Meanwhile, messages of condolences to the berieved family are reaching from different politicians across the country as well as the residents of the Nyeri County.
