At one point, Raila Odinga and William Ruto were great political friends. They used to wine and dine together, walk together and worked together as a unit but at the moment, all that is forgotten history. Instead, the ODM party leader and the Deputy President are great political enemies who are set to face each other in the presidential race in the 2022 general election.
Prior to the coming poll, both Raila and Ruto have been recruiting many allies in their camps while some people have been alleging that OKA principals will eventually join one of the two leaders. Speculations were raised high just recently after Kalonzo Musyoka invited Raila Odinga in the Wiper NDC but today, Farah Maalim decided that there should be no more secrets as he finally told Kenyans why Raila and Ruto can't be joined by OKA principals.
While speaking to TV47 Kenya, Farah Maalim publicly stated that OKA principals can't join Baba and the DP because the two leaders have already promised the deputy presidency to the Mt. Kenya region.
