As President William Ruto continues to appoint people to positions in the government organizations that are essential to his agenda, the Kenya Kwanza administration is starting to take shape.

He has moved fast to hire his team, indicating that he is aware that Uhuru Kenyatta's appointments continue to control the majority of significant institutions.
The National Social Security Fund is one such organization. This evening, Mr. Anthony Munyiri was named the new board chairperson and given the position of chair.
Munyiri's 28 years of experience as the CEO of an unnamed firm will be helpful in his new job, vice president Rigathi Gachagua said in a message on social media when announcing his appointment.

According to him, "the knowledge and experience you have gained over the years on issues relating to investments and the securities market in particular, bond and equity issuance, portfolio management, valuation, and trading will go a long way in achieving the radical transformation of the NSSF as per the Kenya Kwanza Plan."
