Meet President Uhuru Kenyatta's Aide De Camp Lieutenant Colonel Timothy And His Role's.
Nairobi Kenya, 2nd December 2020.
For the first time in the country's history, the president had an Aide De Camp (ADC) from the Navy wing if the Kenya Defence Forces.
The Aide De Camp is the army officer who stands behind the president and goes with him everywhere when he's on any official duty.
The Aide De Camp is in charge of guarding the president and he also does ceremonial roles that do conform with the British Army as this is also a form of honour and respect to the president.
His other role include escorting the President into a car, opening and closing the door for him.
He carries with him the president's speech, mobile phone and other things too.
The ADC is always a senior member of the millitary amd he's like the Personal Assistant to the President.
