The deputy President Hon. William Samoei Ruto is set for a return to Kisii county where sources close to him has revealed that he will host major events on youths and women empowerment in different Constituencies in the region on his race to seek support ahead of the 2022 presidential race.
The deputy president returns in the region just a month after he toured the region to seek for votes. Ruto will visit Marani, Nyaribari, Masaba and Bobasi Constituencies. Ruto will host an event earlier tomorrow where he will have a one on one talk with the local leaders to seek for their endorsement.
The main purpose of Ruto visiting the region is to do away with the Matiangi's stand in the region after he endorsed Raila Amollo Odinga a few months ago. Ruto won't get through the region easily because Matiang'i told the people to consider Raila's Presidency.
