After several years of absence, former IEBC official Roselyn Akombe has finally returned to her native Kenya. Akombe announced her return on Twitter by posting a number of images along with the remark, "Nothing feels like home."

Roslyn Akombe, a member of the Independent, Electoral and Boundaries Commission in 2017, disclosed that she made the decision to leave the country after securing employment with a multinational company. According to reports, the respected former IEBC official opted to leave the nation because she felt threatened following the contentious 2017 presidential election.

Roselyn Akombe revealed in response to a warm welcome from renowned politician Kabando wa Kabando that she is relieved to be sleeping in her bed in Kenya again after five years away. Indeed, Roselyn Akombe, a former official with the IEBC, says that nothing makes her feel as good as returning to her ancestral home.

Roselyn Akombe, a native of Nyanza, will feel liberated and delighted to ring in the new year in her native country this time around as opposed to the previous year when she was terrified for her life.
