Deputy President William Ruto is determined to become the heir-apparent of President Uhuru Kenyatta after deputizing him for two successive terms in Jubilee government.
Although that the second-in-command is working a lonely journey after a shocking betrayal from president Uhuru Kenyatta who he hoped could endorse him come 2022, he and his allies have shown trust that they can still make it to form the next government.
With other top Political heavyweights forming alliances, likes of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) formed by Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetang'ula, Former prime minister Raila Odinga has high hopes of winning president Uhuru's endorsement, living the second in command on a lonely track.
However, according to the Star reports on Thursday, the DP's allies have issues a warning to those interested in the 2022 race. They said that DP Ruto's political nemesis should re-establish themselves well and prepare for a tough battle.
They however licked their master class scheme to counter and conquer their 2022 opponents, asserting that they have already built a strong battalion of juvenile politicians and ordinary youths to counter any line up that Opponents will come out with.
