Big Blow To PS Kibicho Ahead of Mashujaa Day As Parliament Demand Explanation Over Sh3.3b

Kenyans will be celebrating for the Mashujaa Day early next month in Kirinyaga county.The interior permanent secretary in the office of the president Mr. Kiranja Kibicho has been a key player in ensuring that everything is set before the D day comes.

However,the PS and other two permanent secretaries are on the spot over sh3b relief food. The public Account committee directed the Past to explain how the money that was meant to aid relief services in areas that were affected by the drought and famine was spent.

The chair of the committee Opiyo Wandayi directed Kibicho, Julius Korir and Mr. Puwon to brief the House in next Monday how the money was utilised.

Despite the president Uhuru Kenyatta complaining that the country loses about sh2b daily. Powerful individuals have continued to squander public money and the key culprits have not been brought to books.

Corruption is the biggest disease that has made Kenya to lag behind in development. Those implicated in graft at sometimes alleges that the government has been using EACC as a tool to silence those in opposition.
