Today in the evening, the Citizen TV made some reports on what has happened to Dr William Samoe Ruto's security few days after being declared as the president of the republic of Kenya. As seen from their publication, citizen tv said that Dr William Ruto's security has been beefed up following his victory.
According to this publication, the General Service Unit officers (GSU) has taken over the guard of Dr William Ruto's residence at Karen and Sugoi. His escort team also is said to have been increased. Above that, Dr William Ruto is said to have started getting some briefings from National Security Advisory Committee which is controlling as the organs of the national security. This is happening in preparation for his presidency.
"The security of Dr. William Ruto has been extensively beefed up since he was declared Kenya’s President-elect by the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Monday, August 15.In Nairobi, the Guard Company "G" arm of the GSU has been deployed at the official residence of the Deputy President, a premise that Ruto has been occupying for close to 10 years and is yet to vacate."
