In an interesting turn of events as he toured Laikipia county today on December 7th, Deputy President William Ruto was embarrassed while at Karandi market in Laikipia West Constituency after rowdy youth turning his rally into a chanting field.
The DP who had conducted various rallies in different parts of Laikipia West on his way to Nyahururu town early in the day had arrived at Karandi market in the afternoon but during his speech, the rowdy youth couldn't give a chance to deliver what was on his mind in peace.
Sensing that the nuisance had become too much, the DP was heard ordering the youth to find an alternative rally for them to speak what they wanted instead of interfering with his really.
"Nyinyi endeni mkutano yenu, wacheni upuzi hapa. Kwani mlikuja kutupigia makekele hapa," he was heard saying.
Speaking in rage, the DP went ahead to say that "if you don't want to observe some decorum... Please let's just have some order. Did you just come here to interrupt our meeting or have a different agenda?
Kila mtu apange mkutano yake bana... This is my rally and we must respect each other."
Despite the heckling, the DP went ahead to hold a successful rally that lasted for around thirty minutes before proceeding to Kwa Wanjiku trading center.
