Deputy President William Ruto has an evident reason to scratch his head ahead of the 2022 presidential polls following the latest observation from his perceived Rift Valley backyard.
The former vice president, His Excellency Kalonzo Musyoka visited Nakuru County today accompanied with a number of powerful leaders and addressed thousands of residents who deliberately filled the streets up to the umpteenth to listen to him.
Honourable Kalonzo Musyoka who has been a political rival of the Deputy President for a while now pointed out his political interests ahead of 2022 as he reminded the residents of Nakuru on the formation of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) that brought together some highly ranked bigwigs in the history of Kenyan politics like Honourable Musalia Mudavadi, Honourable Moses Wetangula and Baringo County Senator Honourable Gideon Moi with a quest to win the upcoming elections.
Shortly before Kalonzo adjourned his speech, he asked the residents whether they are willing to support them in 2022 as they look forward to transform the country in all dimensions who in turn roared in agreement. This is a major reason that may now worry DP Ruto ahead of 2022 as it may possibly indicate a political weakness in his own perceived backyard.
