
As Ruto is Busy meeting up with Mombasa community, his deputy is already addressing the Uasin Ngishu crowd which warmly received him. Rigathi taking his time to address the issue of him not being suitable to deputise William Ruto in the race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Rigathi Gachagua, the race is about numbers and interests. He said that what will matter most is the number of votes they will acquire from across the nation and that while Ruto looked around, he saw that he is better placed to deputize him and get the much needed numbers to win the presidency.

He exuded confidence that UDA and Kenya Kwanza as a whole will carry the day and that Ruto will be sworn in as the next president of the Republic of Kenya. The crowd did not hesitate celebrating the remarks with UDA chants and vowing to Mobilise others to vote for Ruto.
