Big Blow To Ruto as His Key Ally Changes Tune on This

With exactly one year remaining to general elections and series of crucial events leading to August 9th 2022 happening, Deputy President William Ruto have a hard tasked in ensuring he garnered over 90% of Mt. Kenya votes to make his presidential bid relevant. After formation of United Democratic Alliance party that was deemed as a national party by Ruto,a lot of infighting especially from Mount Kenya key leaders as they insist to form their political vehicle that will be use as a negotiation tool for Mt. Kenya region as clocks ticks towards 2022.

On August 11th 2021,The Service Party leader Mwangi Kiujuri has confirmed that he will not fold his party to join UDA. He insisted that Deputy President William Ruto must consider forming coalition with them ahead of 2022 general polls.

" Nobody can boast in this country that they have a national party. They are first of all regional parties. It is only a fool who will go to 2022 to be subjected to the tricks that happen during nominations, where people are literally plucked out of the contest by power of voters but personalities seated in an office, " Mwangi Kiujuri.
